Explorer: Jonathon Ross of 2wheeladv

Explorer is all about real REVER users, where they ride and what they’ve seen. Hopefully their stories and images will inspire you to get out there, track your rides and share them socially. Don’t forget to tag @revermoto, #makeeveryridecount

EXPLORER: 2wheeladv’s Jonathon Ross

Mixing his passion of riding with the task of honest product reviews.

Meet Jon Ross, an Adventure blogger who loves to get out there and explore like so many of us do; flying off into the unknown, and uncovering the cool places that you only find when on a motorcycle.

Ross, was the winner of the BMW #trackyourstory Challenge on REVER. In this Challenge, the winner not only needed to get out there and ride a lot of miles, but also share the experience via social media. As a motorcycle blogger, this was all too easy for Ross, who posted quite a few images and posts during the Challenge.

Over the years, Ross got fed up with purchasing new products only to discover that the reviews that he depended on to make purchase decisions seemed inaccurate. So, he made up his mind that while he was out riding, he’d do the reviewing himself, to his standards, without sucking up to those same companies.

Ross has been to some pretty cool places, so we thought we’d share some of his rides, and images from his travels with you. If you want to follow his blog, check it out at 2wheeladv or find him on Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook

I was thrilled to have accomplished the great feat of riding my motorcycle to the official Prudhoe Bay General Store, marking the completion of a journey to one of the northernmost points of the World accessible by roadway, with a vast array of challenging terrain. I was lucky to have returned from this trek with my bike and body intact, as others I met along the ride were not so lucky.
Looking back at the unique and timeless sights of Dawson City, as I depart on the ferry to cross the Yukon River to embark on another day’s journey across the Top of the World Highway.
Searching for bears and other wildlife as I explore the beautiful outskirts of the city of Valdez.
