With the official start of summer down under just weeks away, it’s time to plan some epic rides. We’ve added five recommended routes to our Discover section here. You can either plan your own custom rides over the top of them in our planning tool online, or give them a go as they are.

Otorohanga Escape Loop
This loop offers 200 kilometers of circumnavigation around Pureora Forest Park and the beautiful farming hills. A highlight of this route is Ngaroma Road which is a treat. Start this loop at any part along the way for an epic, farmland experience.

Forgotten World Highway
With an iconic name like Forgotten World Highway, this is a popular motorcycle destination. This route offers four scenic twisty sections, a unique tunnel, and a bike-friendly pub, Whanagamomona. This is a technical road ride is a must-do for any motorcyclist in New Zealand.

East Cape
Depart from Whakatane or hop on along the way, this route is a rollercoaster that rises and falls along the Eastern Cape of the North Island. Along the way, if you have an ADV bike, hop off the main route and hit the beach on Tolga Bay to keep things interesting.

Waipukurau Loop
A full day ride out of Waipukurau, this loop is just over 270 KM of scenic and excitement. There are many side trips detouring out to the region of Hawke's Bay and the beaches along the way. As you cruise through the rolling hills, there are ample amounts of sheep gazing back your way.
