REVER Rewind: 2024 Improvements and New Features

As we downshift into the New Year, we are stoked to look back at what the REVER team has introduced for our riders this season.

Hopefully 2024 was a year of creating memories, meeting new people, and discovering new places to ride. If so, it would be easy to lose track of all the thoughtful improvements we’ve made to the app and website. That’s why we’re taking a look back at the new features and updates we made throughout the year to ensure REVER is the #1 Motorcycle GPS App.

Community Updates

While communities have been around in REVER since the beginning, we gave them a fresh look and made it possible to create them in the app. Now it’s even easier to connect with fellow riders, discover routes, and organize and share all your rides with a single link. The beauty of Communities in REVER is the simplicity. Our tech team focused on the usability of this feature without losing the plot. Learn more here.

Event Updates

Speaking of community, we made it so you can seamlessly keep yours up-to-date with live or virtual events. Now you can add multiple routes to a riding-based event so you can show attendees the best places to ride. And if you want to know who’s planning to be there, your fans can mark their attendance and see who else is going.

AI Route Scout

We’ve added over 25,000 new segments to REVER that are rated by their scenery and twisty-ness. The goal was not to replace our human vetted incredible road segments, but to identify the properties that make those segments great and apply that lens to areas where we haven’t ventured… yet. AI Route Scout is helping us fill in gaps on the map, but only you can help us verify these cool segments. Get out and explore, and if you like what you ride, submit it to us.

Profile Updates

It’s your profile, you should be in control of it. That’s why we made a handful of changes to the profile page that elevate the way you interact with your ride data and with other people in the REVER app. With the improved layout, you can easily organize and view My Rides, Garage, My Friends, and My Communities. Want to keep your riding and profile on the down low? We also made it easy to switch your account from public to private and back again with the click of a button. For users who like to have more control, we’ve expanded the settings list to make your app experience as customizable as possible.

Community Curated Rides

Ok, so this isn’t technically a 2024 feature, but we have some news-worthy contributions to the Community Curated discover groups this year. So far, you have submitted 5,360 rides, for a grand total of 10k rides since we launched this feature in 2023. Thanks to your efforts, we’ve added 1,000 rides to the map all across the globe. We genuinely enjoy seeing the places and pictures you submit, and hearing what makes those rides great. Most of all, we love how dedicated you are to helping us inspire the riding community to get out and see the world on two wheels. To learn about submitting your rides click here.

Great Northern Adventure Route

Speaking of inspiring the community, check out the Great Northern Adventure Route! We partnered with CFMOTO to ride the new Ibex 450 while scouting a ride submitted by REVER user Stephen Wisner. It’s an approachable multi-day, mixed surface route spanning Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. And by the way, we’re looking to find more hidden gems in 2025 so get to planning and submit your routes. Who knows, we just might join you and feature your route on our YouTube Channel.

As we take a victory lap on the improvements we’ve made to REVER this year, we’re already getting excited about the ways we can help #MakeEveryRideCount next year. Change is inevitable and we think that thoughtful technology can make powersports more enjoyable, accessible, and safer for everybody - and we want you to ride as much as you possibly can. If you want to stay in the know make sure to look out for our live monthly webinar series Whatever With REVER.
