The best option currently in REVER is to check out the Off-road Areas in Discover and also select the Land Use map.
If you place waypoints on a particular side of the interstate and you select reverse route, those points will remain on that side for Follow Route Line. If you reverse the route and select Get Directions the route will be updated for the direction of travel.
Twisty Roads would be the quickest option. You can also join or start a local community and check out where other riders are riding.
Thank you for the feedback. You can set a custom zoom level. Pinch to zoom and then re-center your location. FYI, we are working on a feature to alert you when you go off track while using Follow Route Line.
You can import GPX/KML/KMZ files into REVER. For any other file type you may need to find the right conversion software.
When using TxT directions you can report incorrect directions, confusing audio prompts, illegal routes, road closures, poor route quality, or positioning errors. Speed traps are not currently an option with our 3rd party mapping provider, Mapbox.
Some functionality has been restored with the latest app releases. We will be taking a closer look at adding more functionality over the winter months.
Currently, merging rides is not a feature in REVER, but you can export your GPX files into a program that can combine them. We use Garmin’s BaseCamp.
We are looking at adding formatting to ride descriptions, but currently you can format a Community Description and add links. You can also create a Blog embed code for rides from share options, to make it easy to link your rides to a webpage.
Currently, when you close out of REVER your ride will be ended. We are planning to add the ability to resume a ride even if you quit or accidentally close the app. For multi-day rides we recommend saving each day when you finish riding.
The waypoint icon cannot be changed, however you can make it less visible by selecting the Outdoors map style.
Reserve route is not an option on the web.
If this is a Butler route you can reach out to info@butlermaps.com. Otherwise please send this info to support@rever.co
Texas is a big state and there are many rides included in Discover. Ultimately, the best way to find where people are riding locally is to join a community.
Yes, click finish and scroll to the bottom and select delete ride.
That is correct. Only the rides on each page will show up. You can save your favorites and display up to 9 on the map view.
We’d have to see an example to answer this. Feel free to reach out at support@rever.co
If you’re referring to the Challenge search bar it will return results based on the challenge title.
Are you asking how to save favorite routes or something like offline maps of your favorite areas?
Thanks for clarifying. Currently there isn't a way to save waypoints or POIs. You can choose Current location when you create a route.
They do not, but you can reach out to Butler at info@butlermaps.com
This only happens when you are using Turn by Turn directions. TxT will recalculate if you get off your route or miss a waypoint. The best way to stay on track is by including up to 25 waypoints.
The logic that goes into providing live turn by turn directions doesn't allow for a static "Follow Route Line" style navigation. It will navigate based on the waypoints.
You can show all waypoints on the top toolbar. Click the waypoint button (furthest to the right) to view all.
We are chomping at the bit to get on Android Auto, but currently REVER isn't compatible.
This is on our radar.
Currently you can edit your route to start from your current location. After you find your route > click the ellipsis and edit ride > delete waypoints you’ve already passed and add your current location as the first waypoint.
Make sure you have photos allowed in app permissions
Currently there is not a way to preserve the route with Twisty Roads or Avoid highway if there aren't other waypoints to guide turn by turn directions. We’ll continue to look for solutions, but ultimately we are limited by our 3rd party mapping provider (Mapbox).
Get directions will route you to each waypoint sequentially, but it may reroute if you take a detour or place waypoints too far apart.

We're currently working on redesigning that panel.
You can export the GPX track and send it to a friend. That will allow you to keep the route private.
Currently you cannot start a planned route from your current location without editing the route. But we'll share this with the dev team.
We haven’t talked about using the Google API for that recently, but I’ll look into it. We do have a traffic layer you can overlap on top of all our existing map styles though. That is provided by our mapping provider, MapBox, but I’m not sure how that traffic data is sourced.
We don’t have plans for an iPad specific app at this time.
If you contact us at support@rever.co we can update or remove them from the Discover tab.
There is a double arrow in the lower right corner of the screen. Click that to skip a waypoint.
Thanks for the feedback. Saving rides for Offline does use storage space on the phone so this isn't a current default, but we'll share this with the dev team.
These are updated as BDR informs us of route changes. Reach out to routeinfo@ridebdr.com for road closures and they will inform us.
REVER no longer supports RLink Devices.
This is on our radar. What do you like about Relive's replay?
Thanks! We'll share this with the dev team.
Yes you can as long as there are 25 waypoints or less.
You can create a community in REVER and upload GPX routes or create new rides to share with your community.
Thanks for the feedback. We have a resume ride feature on our Radar.
Hey, that sounds like a bug. I’ll look into it and see whats going on.
You can skip a waypoint with the fast forward arrow icon at the bottom right. Turn by Turn directions and skip waypoints will work with mixed results when you don't have cell service. For short periods of time and distance Predictive caching will allow these features to work, but the longer you go without service the less effective they will be.
Sorry, Al. We have that fixed in the next iOS release which we are hoping to get out late this week or early next week.
It sounds like you may not be physically passing through the first waypoint on your route. When this happens, just click the skip waypoint button at the bottom right.
Ultimately, Follow Route Line is a better option for leading group rides as it will be a set track and everyone will be navigating the same route. Turn by turn directions can be recalculated and may result in riders taking detours, which creates a challenge for a sweeper if you use one
Currently you can edit your route to start from your current location. After you find your route > click the ellipsis and edit ride > delete waypoints you’ve already passed and add your current location as the first waypoint.
Make sure you have your route saved to Favorites and you can access it in CarPlay. We're also taking a look at CarPlay compatibility after the last update.
This isn’t on the radar right now, but we’ll share this with the dev team.
Not yet. I have our devs taking a look to see if this is a REVER issue or Mapbox.
Yes. Send it to support@rever.co and let me know what's going on.
We are all cyclists and avid Strava users, so I’m familiar with the feature. It's definitely something I want us to do eventually!
